14no New Build Garages, Ash, Guildford
Our installation team have recently completed a stunning flat roof project in Ash, Guildford.
The brief was to provide a hard-wearing elastomeric flat roof system onto 14no. new-build garages and Webber Roofing provided a robust specification.
The project comprised of fitting wall plates to the perimeter and new purlins to steel joist hangers. Roof spars were then mechanically fixed to the purlins before being boarded with top quality OSB3 boards. New UPVC fascias were then fitted to plywood backboards around all perimeters, before being felted using an SBS elastomeric torch on felt system, with welted edgings applied to the perimeters.
PROTECTING AGAINST THE ELEMENTS
As an additional level of protection, the newly installed flat roof was given a coat of solar reflective paint. This special formulation serves to protect the roof against the effects u-v damage, blistering and heat ageing; thereby prolonging the roof’s life expectancy.
Finishing touches were then added seeing new UPVC half-round gutters and downpipes installed to roof eaves.
WELL DONE TEAM!
The entire project was completed by two men, Tony Ewens and Richard Earnshaw in just seven days. Massive congratulations to them both for producing such a sterling job!
